Do you trust your CEO?
From last week’s Ctam in NYC, a study from Edelman called the Trust Barometer. In the pdf that you can download here, you can take a look at how the trust changed in the past years.
What grabbed my attention was the part connected to my job: how to do marketing campaigns using the right tools (meaning testimonials when you don’t want to talk through content). In fact in the past couple of years, Edelman found out that people trust experts the most - which is not a surprise -but as you can see in the screengrab here, they love to hear words from the CEO of a company: someone you should trust as involved in his business, but probably the idea of listening to these guys otherwise unaccessible, makes everything they say more valuable.

I apologize for probably the most boring picture I have ever uploaded here.
Ema Borborygmi is my personal rumble into the media world and more. My growling could be about a tv channel, a marketing operation, God or even George Michael if necessary. As borborygmi, sometimes they are not fair, but they just happen and I can't control them.
Subscribe via RSS.
